THE GURU STIRS AGAIN —
Hide the wimmenfolk and the cattle



Demure, but yet so classy - the Purple Pinup Guru has been fortunate enough to grace the presence of one of the most gracious actors to be working on the same studio lot of where he is employed a few times while he picks up a DVD or woofing down a green tea smoothie at the Jamba Juice bar (thanks to Sparky's recommendation- it tastes just like ice cream). I don't care how many times Sandra Bullock proclaims herself as the reigning 'queen of the commissary snack bar' - no one can hold a beacon to Lauren Graham. Lauren is easily approachable and easy to pass off a complement to for her heralded work on one of the WB's highest rated series, The Gilmore Girls. Heck, there was one time, the Guru was befuddled and pressed for time to find some holiday baby clothes for his three year-old niece in the studio store, and just by coincidence, she was passing by and wooed over the Guru's shoulder to say, 'ohhhhh, That little jumpsuit looks so cute' - the PP Guru then quickly whipped out his billfold and made the purchase right on the spot! And thus, a shopping chore was to put to rest due to the divine intervention of Ms. Graham.

But once again, there are strange stirring below the tunic for this one- rumors of tiaras, golden lassoes, and telepathic invisible planes are emitting claxon bell sounds when it comes to the negotiation table that there is a strong possiblity that Graham could indeed lasso in the role of WONDER WOMAN which is currently in pre-production as being marionetted by Joel Silver with Joss Wheldon pulling the strings of the script. It would make a whole lotta perfect sense to the PP Guru- seeing as how Joel's production office is practically RIGHT NEXT DOOR to the Gilmore Girl's main soundstage with the studio store and STARBUCK'S being the only obstruction standing between the two.

The Purple Pinup Guru went last night to apply his stock- in- trade STALKING techniques by supplying the proper credentials to gain access to the main lot of the Studio - of whose name cannot be uttered due to the likely possibility of getting his rosy hairy ass hauled off by security- and made a quick pit stop to the company store and relayed my findings to one of the store clerks who moles for me who is who stops in and when. When the PP Guru inquired about Graham, the clerk sadly murmured that Lauren had to fly off the lot just as soon as production wrapped on next month's season finale because of her mother had passed away in London a couple of weeks ago.

Well, that blows. I really hate it when tragedy befalls such a sweet kind of person as Lauren.

The Purple Pinup Guru will keep an eyeful (especially when it comes to Lauren) on this story as it develops.
