The Purple Pinup Guru Platform

When purple things are pulsating on your mind, I'm the one whose clock you want to clean. Aiding is Sparky, the Astral Plane Zen Pup Dog from his mountain stronghold on the Northernmost Island of the Happy Ninja Island chain, this blog will also act as a journal to my wacky antics at an entertainment company and the progress of my self published comic book, The Deposit Man which only appears when I damn well feel like it. Real Soon Now.

I wasn't going to post for a while due to the fact that I clocked in over 24 hours of OT at the studio and that I feel like celebrating with a female acquaintance of mine this week- but the realization just hit me: today's my anniversary.

The Purple Pinup Guru Platform is officially 1 years old today.

And I haven't put one red cent in improving the decor around here. Fuck, this blog is not even purple for cripessakes.

ITEM! This whole gay marriage thing that is sweeping the nation lately. Like they say in the new McDonald's commercials these days- I'm loving it. It goes to demonstrate how perturbed and insecure we are as a nation to drone on and on about how people spent their lives in the bedroom. So gay couples want to make it official. So fucking what? Why the hell should someone care? If one man wants to wake up to the aroma of another man's buttocks in the morning - I say more power to him. Why is the nation dwelling on this shit? Why is this nation taking shit examples from the Middle East and putting their mindsets on thinking everything is governed by a fairy tale book? Get the bible out of your ass, and get with the modernt time jerk-offs.
Jesus isn't the answer to everything, and sure as shit, he didn't invent the goddamn automobile, either.

Besides anything that lights a firecracker under Bush's ballsac can't be all that bad.

ITEM Finally, I had Oliver Simonsen and Maskela Polee meet face to face last Sunday - despite all of being late due to the calamity of traffic caused by the Motherfucking LA Marathon. It took me roughly one full hour on a MTA Red Rapid Bus from Wilshire and Western to a half a mile to La Brea Ave (or was it La Cienga?).
Anyway, I got to my destination at Rhino Records at 3:30 Pm after leaving the Burbank lot at 12 NOON!!. I was scoping out the independent comic book fair that Golden Apple was throwing in the parking lot. It didn't seem the public was to thrilled about it depending on what people displaying there told me. Of course, I didn't arrive until they were packing away. But I bumped in Oliver shopping around (and beating him to a used Planet of the Apes VHS movie collection both remastered and in THX for ...$ 15!!
Boy, I have to be the envy of the nerd neighborhood for that one. As we both made our way to the counter - there was MAS checking out the mainstream stuff. Hmm, maybe Liebowitz should have plan this at a better date next year so it don't conflict with the marathon. Now that we got the meet and greet out of the way, all three of are getting along famously and discussed some game plan on the forthcoming Deposit Man book which I aim to print in May.
